Who we are
Australian Multicultural Community Services (AMCS) supports older Victorians to enjoy life in their home and in the community. We work across Greater Melbourne and Geelong, empowering people to live their best lives every day.
Founded in 1983 to support Polish immigrants, we’ve since grown to 150+ staff speaking over 55 languages. We remain true to our founding principles: providing seniors with equal access to services, opportunities and joyful living.
We believe in the power of relationships. Our staff, volunteers and clients form deep, lasting bonds built on trust, respect, and reliability. We pride ourselves on retaining and looking after our staff. For our clients, this means familiar faces and continuity of care.
We are dedicated to caring for vulnerable people and respecting all cultures. Most of our team members have migrated to Australia, bringing lived experience and a profound understanding of our clients’ needs.
We’ve built our reputation on trust earned and promises kept.
