Millennium House is a modern and vibrant multicultural community hub with a range of facilities that serves many needs.

Located at 296 Nicholson St, Seddon, VIC, 3011, our $7million redevelopment addresses the growing need for culturally inclusive spaces in Melbourne’s West, and we’re excited about the positive impact it is having on the community.

Our beautiful community hall and adjoining kitchen is available for hire and with event furniture and modern audio visual equipment included, the large light-filled space is a welcoming and all-inclusive venue for a wide range of gatherings and social occasions.

Celebrating History

Millennium House has been the home and focal point for the Polish community of Western Melbourne since the early 1960s. Many thousands have used its large community hall and have fond memories of significant life events celebrated there.

As such, Millennium House remains a significant symbol of the migrant history of Melbourne’s Western Suburbs. It powerfully demonstrates what can be achieved with determination, community goodwill and post-war self-reliance. The Polish Association of Kingsville and Ladies Auxiliary (PAKLA) gifted this substantial community asset to AMCS and asked that it be repurposed for the community’s future use.

AMCS is committed to delivering on this mission and honours it for the entire community’s benefit.
