Money Talks for Better Ageing was a project that strengthened the financial wellbeing of multicultural seniors and raised awareness of financial abuse. The objective was to help older people feel more confident talking about money, recognise the risks of financial mistreatment and better understand where to get help and information.

Who was involved

Australian Multicultural Community Services (AMCS) worked with 100 older people from diverse cultural backgrounds through co-design workshops.
The project was delivered in partnership with Seniors Rights Victoria and Financial Counselling Victoria and local financial counsellors.
